Our holiday apartment is 1a Wilhelmsplatz, rightly regarded as one of the most beautiful squares in the city. It is in the heart of Görlitz and close to the pedestrian zone. Only 30 metres away from the house is Straßburg-Passage, a traditional shopping mall, dating from the 1870s. There are further shops providing for every-day needs and self-catering, including the nearby open market, held daily (on Saturdays till noon). A few metres away lies the Postplatz, with its unique shell fountain (Muschelminnabrunnen), and a walk of approximately 8 minutes takes you into the oldest part of Görlitz, with its beautifully restored historic houses and quaint pubs and restaurants. Likewise within a short walking distance over a pedestrian bridge is Zgorzelec, the Polish part of the European twin city Görlitz/Zgorzelec

The music antiquarian shop "Fundus," run by Dirk Schreier, is located in Görlitz station between the Kultursalon and Platform 1. He can be reached at +49 170 9027022. There you will receive all information regarding the holiday apartment, as well as the keys upon arrival, which can also be returned there upon departure.
